Workshop #1 in the Courageous Conversations series organized by the VCUArts Qatar Dean’s Office and the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee will focus on diversity-based tensions including bullying that occur in our workplace and classrooms. Situations where individuals feel uncomfortable, excluded, marginalized, or even bullied emerged as a concern in our latest Climate Survey and DEI-B listening sessions. 

Experts from the Institute of Developing Across Differences (IDD), an organization specialized in helping people connect across diversity, will facilitate this session for us. To help them better understand and meet your needs, please answer these questions candidly.
