The Institute for Developing Across Differences (IDD) offers programs, training and peer connection opportunities so that you can better help the individuals and organizations you work with to transform Differences into more effective ways of communicating, working, and prospering together.

Exceptional in-person learning happens at the 3rd annual European edition of our Developing Across Differences (DAD) Learning Labs & Community Week.

This special programme brings together global peers and expert faculty for advanced and in-depth professional development, connections, and new content creation. Registration opens on 1 December.

(Re)connect with experienced peers

Join our next IDD Global Community of Practice sessions to connect with experienced —and aspiring— peers on Wednesday, 22 November from 5-6PM CEST/11-noon EDT/8-9AM PDT. 

We’ll discuss The Science of Belonging, exploring the latest research findings and evidence-based interventions on this topic with peers from around the world.

High-level roundtable: Effective diversity in Education City

The IDD led a roundtable discussion with over 30 leaders from six universities in Qatar’s Education City on 3 October.

Recognizing inclusive global and intercultural competence development as core to their respective and collective missions, the participants affirmed their commitment to more regular sharing of  diversity and intercultural efforts across campuses and the region

New publication features Nadine Binder and IDD faculty

“Can you fit a square into a circle?” asks IDD Partner Nadine Binder in a new academic chapter she and IDD faculty member Jana Hollá have co-authored. Exploring how to “leverag[e] experiential learning to enhance relational capacity building,” their work is part of a new book from Springer Publishing — and in which several IDD faculty are also contributors
