faculty and learners at the 2022 European DAD event

The Institute, together with the University of Groningen/Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and other partners, will hold its 2nd annual European Developing Across Differences (DAD) Learning Lab & Community Week from 10-15 July 2023.

This advanced-level training, community and knowledge creation event is for experienced and aspiring professionals whose work is to help people and organizations advance the embrace of differences as a source of strength in the workplace, at home, and in society at large.

The event is
equal parts:
  • Professional development and training grounded in research and theory,
  • Experimentation and deep learning forum, and
  • Community-building

Using an experiential approach, the week-long event is designed to help practitioners and scholars from various specializations within the greater ‘Differences field’ learn from leading global faculty and the experienced peers in attendance in order to increase their effectiveness.

In addition to one-, two- or three-day courses, optional programming —including coaching, networking, local host insights, and peer-sharing opportunities— will be interspersed throughout the week.

Upon completion, participants will receive certificates issued by the Institute and the University.
