European Developing Across Differences Learning Lab & Community Week
Introducing a special new opportunity for “early bird” registrants for our third annual European event this 7-13 July.
Register for two or more courses at our 3rd annual European edition of the Developing Across Differences Learning Lab & Community Week by April 7th and you’ll have the opportunity to work with one of our coaches in a free 45-minute one-on-one online session.
How it works
Once you’re enrolled, we’ll send details so that you can schedule the session to take place between July 15 and August 30, 2024 with one of the IDD’s coaches (slots are filled on a first come, first served availability).
You can use this time to
- reflect on what you learned in Groningen and how to apply it to your work and life,
- work through a critical incident you have experienced professionally,
- explore new perspectives and opportunities,
or address any other topic or question you want to bring to the coaching session.

If more than one session seems helpful, our coaches will support you to gain more clarity and identify possible next steps to continue the exploration including the opportunity to continue to work with your IDD coach at a special IDD alumni package rate.

WHO ARE THE IDD COACHES
Our coaches are specialized in Differences work — spanning DEI-B/Anti-Discrimination, Intercultural Communication, Global Learning and more — and use a culturally-adaptive approach to their coaching practice.
They connect with clients across professional sectors, ages, geographies, time zones, and more, having lived and worked in and with diverse environments themselves.
Catherine Menyhart is a passionate coach and facilitator, helping leaders align their values and vision to empowering, inclusive and effective practices.
With 20 years of experience in intercultural education and leadership development, Catherine helps create spaces where people are seen, heard, and valued, so they may in turn create that space for others.
She is an attentive listener, improvement partner, and steadfast supporter of her coaching clients, working with leadership across diverse sectors including: higher education, health care, non-profits, and environmental organizations.
Catherine is Principal of Making Space, Consultancy based in Maine, US.
Alison Cummings discovered the world of intercultural learning in 2007 when she became an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) administrator.
Since then, she has become increasingly aware that difference matters in our lives, and many people simply need a little help figuring that out.
Alison has been involved in many coaching conversations over the years and became a certified coach through Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) in 2022. She helps her coaching clients with all topics and especially understanding matters of diversity.
Alison is Principal of Difference Matters – Diversity Training, Coaching & Consulting based in Ontario, Canada.
Nagesh Rao is credentialed as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coaching Federation.
With three decades of consulting, training, and coaching in 15 countries across North America, South America, Asia, Europe, and Africa, Nagesh trains and applies culturally adaptive coaching methods to match the needs of trainees and clients from all around the world.
He applies intercultural competence, cultural humility, and intercultural listening to develop leaders in health, education, and business.
Nagesh is Principal of Siya Consulting, a firm specializing in culturally adaptive coaching, consulting, and training and is Professor, Department of Social Medicine, Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University (US).
